We offer expedition sea kayak trips to the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in Far North Queensland and to the Louisiades Archipelago in Papua New Guinea. Our flagship expedition is our 6-day Hinchinbrook Island paddle, one of the worlds great sea kayak journeys. Our Papua New Guinea expeditions in the Louisiades Archipelago are the trip of a lifetime and well worth the effort.

What an amazing trip! Guides Ben and Mia were fantastic, the food was gourmet the whole way, and the locations were stunning. I think this trip is better suited to those who have done a few multi-day expeditions before, but if you're reasonably fit and love Kayaking and camping, then it doesn't get better than this. Can't recommend Coral Sea Kayaking enough - book it now!

We had a fabulous time! Ben, the guide and owner, was very patient and very friendly. The food was great and the equipment worked well. Now, trying to persuade my wife to do the longer trip! Would strongly recommend.

A big thank you to Mia our sea kayaking guide for coordinating such a great trip. Superb organisation including all the gear and food we needed for the three days. Mia was an excellent guide - friendly, organised, knowledgeable and prepared delicious meals every day. She also did a great job at balancing out the various skill levels in the group and making sure everyone had a great time. Thanks for a great experience. N, J & Z

I loved it - this was a great trip. It almost goes without saying: the Hinchinbrook Island scenery is simply stunning. This is one of the most beautiful 100 k of kayaking anywhere. The trip was very well organised and the food was outstanding (as promised on the website). I can't quite fathom how they managed to provide such fresh and beautiful food without having refrigeration. There were generous portions of everything and also helpful supplies of things like insect repellent, hand sanitiser etc. These guys don't penny-pinch. The double kayaks were extremely well suited to the conditions and for the particular trip; stable, comfortable and fast enough (and yes, heavy as hell - but luckily there were always enough hands to help carry them). Despite the kayaks not being new, they're in good nick. While the trip certainly isn't cheap, I didn't regret a cent of it. And to be honest, I would not dream of paddling and camping in Northern Queensland without a local guide: there's too many things out there that want to eat you!! Seriously, I felt that our guides had a very good handle on keeping us safe in the environment. And yet, we saw enough fauna to keep us entertained: sea eagles, whales, turtles, reef sharks, a 'blink-and-you-miss-it' Dugong, but no crocs other than the footwear variety. We had a good (new) tent; and while camping on sand isn't everyone's thing, we were lucky - it didn't rain until the last night - and even then it stopped for breakfast...! The camp locations are invariably stunningly beautiful - all you need is the right weather, which we had. Experienced paddlers could handle longer days on the water, and so could I, but still, I didn't feel they were too short. There was a good balance. The side hikes were good fun too, especially Zoe Falls - just awesome! And yes, it was worth having mask and snorkel with us. Lastly, our guides Ben and Mia were great. Overall, this trip deserves five stars.
